(57,675 posts)Ask yourself 1 question: in a world where
1) 75% of Americans want to hear witnesses,
2) Presidents own top guy John Bolton says hes got impt info showing Trump lying, AND
3) Senate controlled by Rs AND
4) needs 2/3 vote to convict, why are Trump and Rs so afraid of witnesses?

(21,916 posts)Donald Trump promoted his sons brother-in-law, Kyle Yunaska, to oversee an Energy Department office that is apparently dismantling some of former President Barack Obamas climate change initiatives. Were not sure why Kyle was elevated to the position in 2017, except that he is Lara Trumps brother. Lara, of course, is Eric Trumps wife and works on her father-in-laws re-election campaign.

Abuse of power, betrayal of the oath of office, and corruption of elections with foreign interference are at the heart of Constitutional reasons for impeachment and removal.
