I tried explaining to her that he actually got millions of fewer votes the last time and after the hell that we're all going through now, it's beyond me that he could possibly gain support/votes. But then I was shocked and still am that anyone would choose to vote for a bloviating game show host for POTUS in the first place...

If you think about it, that's how the Republicans have managed to "win," not only in 2016, but with Bush* and Katherine Harris in Florida in 2000 and John Kerry and Ken Blackwell in Ohio in 2004. That's why we need to be prepared this time around and make sure that the Democratic win is large enough to make cheating impossible. I'm sure that the Trump campaign already has plans to cheat since that's what they do.
