. . . . . Donald Trump about the scores of sexual misdeeds over the length of his career. Thanks for being . . . . .
What?
What's that?
Not . . . . Trump?
Never Mind.

This crew caused Donald Trump once and they seem bent on causing him again.

(82,849 posts)Nothing will change. All the "serious" news outlets will maintain that questions linger and clouds still shadow the candidate. Every detail, every sordid innuendo, every last stinking bit of it, will persist in the corners of the internet. Eventually one bit or another will cross over into a "respectable" outlet, and all the outlets will have to repeat it again because it's "out there." Then the collective media amnesia will roar back to life, and the whole "scandal" will have to be re-hashed.
Nobody will breathe a word about E. Jean Carroll, Jessica Leeds, Kristin Anderson, Jill Harth, Lisa Boyne, or any of the other Trump accusers.

Watching after the 1 minute dramatic pause with sound down. Staff meeting call. The visual is pathetic. She looks like her puppy choked in her birthday cake.

(29,294 posts)I was a teenager and had mentioned to my conservative father what a funny show SNL was. The night this episode aired I was watching in the kitchen, and he walked in and sat to watch it with me about 10 minutes before this came on. I had to sit there with him while Gilda went on and on and on about it

(61,707 posts)spoons and forks in the bathroom. You don't look for baby formula in cement mixers. You don't look for Joe's music CDs and downloads in the sink garbage disposal (okay, maybe you should). And you don't look for personnel files in archives containing political records. Why is that so hard to understand? Why is it so hard to understand that JB doesn't want his professional records involving decisions, positions, the president, etc be taken and exploited out of context?

(70 posts)It still grosses me out so much that they are a couple. As evidenced by the tweet that Mika just made, so much of the questioning is postering for REVENGE FOR KAVANAUGH. There is some major revisionist history going on regarding Christine Blassey Ford and her credibility, with them using the fact that the slimeballs still made him supreme court justice as somehow a knock against her. She wrote an anonymous letter to her senator, was outed by trashbag Ryan Grim, and testified under the penalty of perjury. She did NOT tweet at Rachel Maddow "tick tock", did not say that Kavanaugh touched her shoulder but it wasn't sexual the year prior. Her testimony was so credible that the white house and republicans were talking about how it was a "disaster" for them and that they might have to withdraw the nomination, but then Brett boy got up red faced and screamed "I LIKE BEER" and the media was able to move on. Such a disgusting comparison.

(43,364 posts)designed to spread doubt about an opponent (just like 2016) and open leads for investigations and manufacture of fake dirt from foreign sources. Do you notice it all comes from overseas? Trump triangulates with foreign sources of fake information and uses the press (Fox, National Enquirer) to hype it.
That is the game.

EXCEPT for their previous grooming of the Hamberder Man for public office, the He's So Damned Funny He's Harmless approach to Preparing the Society For Authoritarian Rule , Then it was like get to know him he doesn't have a chance so you can cast your vote frivolously and maybe we'll get invited to Smarm-A-Lago....what could go wrongism.....
