For example, Alabama growth rate:
Positive test rate=5.5%
Indicates testing is not widespread
ICU headroom used=
Alabama has 1,553 ICU Beds. Normally, 465 are unoccupied. We estimate there are currently 121 COVID cases in the ICU, or 26% of typically free beds. This suggests there is likely enough capacity to absorb a wave of new COVID infections.[/div

(65,180 posts)Sounds like PAs stay at home order is controlling things (and I do understand why my county is still red - glad Wolf and Levine did not cave under all the vitriol), but the state could use more testing.
Nursing homes remain an issue in PA. And prisons. I think it may be why my township and the one to the south are among the highest in Montgomery County.

(63,221 posts)Strange that MA cases are still growing, but the Suffolk County (Boston Area) are declining, which is the most densely populated area in the state. I am proud of my fellow neighbors for doing all they can to stop the spread of this virus. I know that everyone in my neighborhood is taking it very seriously.
