Southern Illinois near St. Louis. For a while they were very scarce (even online unless you waited till June for delivery) but now it seems like they're for sale everywhere. Drug stores, grocery stores, hardware stores and even gas stations.
They are also required to go into any stores or businesses here now, and I haven't really seen anyone complaining about it. I did go to the store with a friend the other day and he finished before me and he said while he waited in the car he saw that they wouldn't let this one guy go in without a mask. He said the guy argued for a minute and then went back to his car and got one and went in.
Nearly every place has six foot distances marked off at check outs and such here now too. Whenever there are just big "X's" on the floor I always tell them I've seen way too many Roadrunner cartoons to fall for that old trick.

(65,302 posts)Masks at Menard's being sold at courtesy desk at the entrance.
Then, today I saw 5 packs of surgical masks for $8, max 2 at the CVS when I picked up my wife's meds.
So they're selling them at retail!

(103 posts)Here in Florida, with the exception of restaurant and store employees who are probably required to wear masks, I have seen only a small minority wearing a face covering. Its maybe 10-20% I have seen with a mask or even a bandanna.
People I am talking to, want football games with fans actually back in attendance. And, they dont like face coverings. Some even worked without a face covering, around somebody (who had mild symptoms) waiting for a COVID-19 test result to come in. People here really do not understand the horror of COVID-19.
I hope the theme parks dont open without face coverings becoming mandatory for everybody. People might not like it, but it is better than dying and/or losing a loved one.
