https://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/crime/2020/05/11/breonna-taylor-killing-family-hires-attorney-ahmaud-arbery-case/3108607001/Breonna Taylor, 26, was shot eight times by Louisville Metro Police officers who entered her apartment around 1 a.m. March 13. Police have said the officers were serving a search warrant as part of a narcotics investigation, but no drugs were found at the home.
Kenneth Walker, Taylor's boyfriend, was with her in bed when police entered the home, and police say he shot an officer. He faces criminal charges of first-degree assault and attempted murder of a police office, but no drug charges.
Taylor had no criminal record.
Say her name. Breonna Taylor.

(12,159 posts)intruders and cops who dont identify themselves? The cops action resulted in the death of an innocent, respected person and the injury of one of their own. The boyfriend being charged just is insult added to murder. Say both their names Breonna Taylor and Kenneth Walker. This list is too long.

All to often, cops get away with murder, but it seems that maybe this is changing as more and more cops are being charged.

(14,547 posts)Knowing full well the murdered an innocent person in their own home.
then there's this buried in the article.
But police had already located Glover at his home and detained him before executing the warrant at Taylor's residence, the suit says.
Glover's home is more than 10 miles from Taylor's home on Springfield Drive, records show. He faces drug and gun charges.
They had the real suspect in custody, before they executed the warrant, on top of executing Breonna Taylor. Everyone involved should be arrested and tried.
