Covid-19 And Trump - Both Channel In Me The Same Feeling Of Helplessness.....

As I sit here in my home - I feel helpless dealing with the virus. We all have learned its harmful ways. We all have seen the pain and suffering it imparts. It is insidious, destructive and deadly and there is very little we can do to prevent it from harming us.

The same goes for Trump. By nature of the fact of his office and the hold that the Repug Party has on us and the people that surround and protect Trump - there is very little we can do to keep him from harming us and our country.

For the last 3 1/2 years we've had to deal with all he's dished out. Just when we think that he could be stopped (Mueller Report; impeachment; etc) somehow his treacherousness seems to frustrate us and he persists.

We are helpless - at least for now - until we have a chance in November to inoculate ourselves with the vaccine of our vote to make him go away.

In both cases - with the virus and with Trump - I hope the vaccine will let us get back to normalcy - in both ours lives and our government.
