Trump knows he’s a failure and can’t face it. Rather than come up to where others are, he tries to drag them down into the hole he’s in.

good people. They project everything they hate about themselves onto that smart, sensitive person and then they attack that person with everything they have. That person becomes a scapegoat for every grievance. They use horrible smear campaigns to try and bring that person down.
