I used to have a small farm and used clippers for the llamas.
I recently bought a Wahl Chromado Lithium from SmarkPak for my dog.
Pet hair is thicker and finer so they require a better grade clipper. Human hair is also more brittle and easier to cut.
They won't let you down, probably lasting forever.

(22,060 posts)I couldn't take it any longer so I used an electric razor with the longest attachment, (No. 5). I just moved it all around my lid until hair stopped falling off. I ended up with about a 1-inch buzz cut.
Not too bad except for the back which was a little sketchy. At least it's not falling in my face anymore.

(20,365 posts)Appointment only. I payed the barber double. I thought about keeping long hair like I had in the 70's. But back then I didn't wear a hat. Now I would have unsightly hat-hair.

(17,348 posts)I will be calling husband in a few minutes on his cell in the next room to alert him his stylist (me) will meet him on the back patio with clippers in hand. Since weve quarantined together for 8+ weeks I am not requiring him to wear a mask 😷
Wish him luck!
