Steve Mnuchin

Wealthy people like Steve get the vast majority to the entirety of their wealth from investment income. People like Steve long ago lost the connection between that investment income and actual workers. He'll throw out some generic comments about "workers" but has no idea nor care.

The focus of this administration's efforts is to protect the class of wealth that gets their income from investments and leverage the risks of foreclosure and bankruptcy to force poor and middle class people to go back to work, if they feel safe or comfortable about it or not.

Mnuchin was being asked about fairness of workers & low wage workers being put in harm's way with the threat of dismissal. His previous responses were: "I don't know what workers you're referring to".

edit to add: "smug ass" to describe Mnuchin's smug ass reply.

Take leave of absence or quit, if they move to open to public shopping. She works for an art retailer big box, but will not put her health or ours at risk for a low wage job.

She has us and small savings to float her until vaccine or the death rates soar, then she can go back to curbside pick up, with no public exposure.

These fools are wearing no mask because they are still believing it's a democratic hoax because their president said so.
