(30,613 posts)Perfect look for the somber occasion.
Pres. Turd on the other hand, looks like a vain, weaselly orange doughboy, afraid that the big kids will pick on him if he wears a mask.

(13,059 posts)There are a million reasons to oppose trump. But his physical appearance is not one of them. We should be better than that. We should not take ourselves down to his level.

(13,059 posts)But as I said, we should not take ourselves down to his level. His physical appearance is beside the point. It's his policies and the way he conducts himself that are his downfall, not the way he looks. It is very juvenile and petty to attack someone based upon their physical appearance.

(5,106 posts)where he is concerned. Nancy Pelosi is great for her "elegant", clinical remarks, such as (little pause) "morbidly obese."

(23,344 posts)and makes him say stoopid shit, I'm all for it!
It's not really judging him on appearance--it's needling him toward that big one we need him to have.

(17,388 posts)his die hard followers, maybe this is the Good Lords way of getting them to wake up to what's really happening in this country.
When this is contained someone will do a survey of %'s of people by party affiliation and it'll look very poorly on republiCONS.

Do you think this is a good look for a President of the United States?
Or do you think this is a bad look for a President of the United States?

(6,940 posts)The black mask double duty, actually protecting people (and there fore showing concern for the safety of every American) and also vaguely suggesting a mourning band. The black predominating in both outfits shows respect and the solemnity of the occasion. The touches of white suggest inclusiveness - it's like not trying to outshine the bride at a wedding - all black might suggest they were chief mourners; touches of white say they're not, that everyone is a mourner here.
Small touches - but they add up - and people are emotionally affected by them, often without realizing it.
