It would be interesting to hear more about what they realize about "conservatism" (I do think they're right-- Trump and his Trumpist-GOP party isn't at all conservative) and their own tactics in the past, if they take some blame for it.

I doubt she will vote GOP again. I think Ana Navarro still has a way to go, but I would term her a ConservaDEm now, and she voted for HRC, although she dislikes the Clintons very much.

The GOP is the trump party. It will be even more racist and vile than it even is now.

Rural areas are declining population wise, so it base will shrink even more.

Drawback is that it will become more virulent and extremist.

Don't doubt that for a minute. There are a very small number of NTs that will leave the GOP for good, but most will go right back to the very things they were doing before: feeding the malleable base that loved Trump.

There won't be enough of them to matter. The money nay support them though.

We won't need them after that. Trump and about half his base will stomp off trashing the GOP as they go, and there won't be much left. They can spend a few decades rebuilding what's left, and the Democrats can run things until the GOP is capable of mounting a competitive campaign in 2040.
