We would have a record setting deficit, an addition $7 trillion dollars of debt, a negative GDP, double digit unemployment and 130,000 Americans would die in three months from a pandemic that Trump called a hoax ... nobody would have been surprised.

So why does the media continue to act surprised at how much of a disaster Trump's failed Presidency is? Did they think that somehow it accidentally wouldn't have been a complete disaster?

Just ask Norman Ornstein.
As for why that is, ask the people who sign the contracts of the people who act surprised.

(19,271 posts)The first 3 years of Trump's presidency were as un-challenging as any President in our nation's history. he inherited an economy that was humming along, major conflicts worldwide for the US were under control, and things were just all around pretty good.
