I'm Not Saying They're Stupid, But ...

Have the people who are having hissy-fits over BLM never seen their like-minded fellow citizens showing up on social media, filmed in mid tantrum to be scorned and laughed at by everyone?

Are they not aware that their fellow idiots are being shunned by decent people, and are often fired from their jobs, after their displays of mindless ranting shows up on websites everywhere?

Do they not have enough common sense to realize that their demonstrations of sheer lunacy are more than likely to go viral, viewed hundreds of thousands of times – including by their neighbours, their relatives, their coworkers?

The same goes for the anti-maskers who insist on making a spectacle of themselves in stores and restaurants because they refuse to follow the rules. What outcome do they hope to achieve by screaming like banshees, especially knowing that in today’s world, people are likely filming them as they carry on like spoiled brats?

And above all else, exactly how stupid do you have to be to believe a “pResident” who keeps insisting that Covid-19 is under control and ‘disappearing’ – when every legit news outlet is reporting that the number of confirmed cases continues to rise at an alarming rate?

I’m not saying these people are stupid – BUT HELL YES, THEY ARE.

You have to be pretty arrogant to go against all the experts on a subject. More so the less of an expert you are.

Maybe not the same spot, but the same mix of arrogance, privilege, stupidity that make some get mad or even peeved about wearing a mask are the same things that make them not think about the consequences.

about 50 mil a week get RW radio and that's what they hear - over and over and generally they never see or hear anyone directly challenge the radio lying - so it must be true

if they have any doubts about their denial they can just turn on any one of the local rw radio stations

It's "those people" or the "damn libtards" that are causing their woes by exposing them. Otherwise everything would be fine.

Just ask them.

throwing all her groceries out of her shopping cart came to mind when I read your post. She obviously left her MAGA hat at home.

suicidal cult that wants to take the rest of us with them into the abyss. The best course of action is avoidance as many of these nuts are armed with deadly weapons and they're just waiting to use once given the order, which could be anything Trump says. They are very unstable and dangerous.

British political commentator and philosopher, John Stuart Mill once wrote something to the effect that: "While not all conservatives are stupid, one can be sure that all stupid people are conservative."

Change "Conservative" to "Republican" and "stupid" to "stark-staring batshit crazy" and Mr Mill is still correct. Today's trump-worshippers prove it with every act they commit.
