He might have supported King George, but he would have had to make a hasty departure for Jolly Old England in 1783 when the Brits left town.
Considering the way Donnie does business, if he didn’t subsequently dance at Tyburn Hill, he might well have become a very early resident of Australia, courtesy of His Majesty’s courts.
Debtor’s prison. I should have remembered that that possibility!
Of course some irate creditor might have called him out to settle his debts with dueling pistols.
