If you want to celebrate safely, see some fireworks without crowding around a bunch of strangers & catching COVID, it's worth staying home where it's safe, and watching.
Haven't seen Trump yet, so that's good. I hope they leave that jackass out of it and so far they have. We need to declare independence from TRUMP. So sad that after 244 years, America is once again under the thumb of an oppressive dictator King.
BUT I haven't seen him on this program yet and no indication that he will be included.
Right now they're playing Aretha Franklin...tune in if it suits ya.

(8,327 posts)They have been going on for years. I watched the Capitol 4th on local PBS and enjoyed it even though it was not live and was not from the Capitol. The producers did the right thing in the name of safety and put on a nice socially distanced show.
