Would you support an international effort to save America?

The world must be looking at America, thinking what the hell went wrong, and how much worse could it get?

Whereas other nations see a curve of new Covid cases, in America it is out of control. We have an anti-science president who doesn't take it seriously at all, and has bungled it at every step. Infection is so rife, we are banned from traveling to many other nations.

Then we have the danger posed by a president who has proven he is unstable in his dealings with other nations. He has shown his authoritarian leanings, his disregard for human rights, and now he looks set to try to steal the election. If Trump succeeds, God help not only America, but every life on the planet.

What, if anything, should other nations do? Should they mind their own business or should they work together to try to save America?

An intervention.
Take the criminals in our republican party and corporate criminals and drag them all off to the Hague and try them in the International criminal court.

The world continues to accept the dollar as the global reserve currency - despite GOPee profligacy and wars, and the Bush derivatives debacle.

There is a consensus among most of the other nations that allowing the dollar to collapse is unthinkable - despite every GOP effort to make it happen (gold bugs that they are).

with any other President we would have taken a lead on how to deal with this on an international level since this is a worldwide issue.

But Trump has ignored it or made it worse. The rest of the world is not even trying to work with the US which is good for them .

THey can continue to work in other areas like the environment , women's rights etc without considering the US until Trump is gone.

DOn't give Trump legitimacy . So for them, ignoring Trump is best rather than trying to work with him .

to conform except for too much risk themselves in the process.

What can be done is banning American travel to their countries or through their space initially by virtue of CV19, refusing trade, existing US military, and the like; indirect action to further weaken the USA into an extreme pariah so as to be an OK international citizen.

Worse case I can then see a political, economic, and social multi directional fracturing of the USA into fiefdoms followed by attacks on other nations in an attempt by the wrong people and interests to bolster and re-unite the country by war. Not a good prognosis alas.

Once u are in the nuclear club, other nations won’t touch you via conventional warfare.

That’s why the Russians are using asymmetric warfare.

and it leads to totally surrealistic scenes, filmed in black and white. GIs from WWII driving through our villages, as we wave at them from our fire escapes, perhaps?
