get tired after a while. We have lots of livestock around here so they don't get too crazy or shoot a lot of guns. There's some but I've seen much worse.

All us old folks are getting ready for bed.

A helicopter cruising along and literally hundreds of separate fireworks displays going off EVERYWHERE the camera panned.

Thankfully I got some downers for my dog from the vet... He's nervous but a bit stoned!!!

Neighbors were going nuts with fireworks earlier. It sounded like sticks of dynamite were included a few times.

Too. Full moon also.

As I type it is 10:40 and it still sounds like cannons going off every few seconds. It was bad last night, too. As much as I hate it, I will tolerate it up to a point, up to 10:00 and then it is time to stop!!

One thing SC is liberal about is fireworks. People will drive in from surrounding states to stock up.

Small town down the road has been doing the big boomers all evening. One of our dogs barks at every single one. The other ones have turned into Velcro.

And given the prequel we've had for a couple of weeks, it's going to last another two or three hours.

Enjoyed the CNN special. As for the ones in my neighborhood, not so much.

The bad part of this is it is all two houses. Everybody else is quiet. Two houses of major assholes are ruining it for the whole neighborhood.

Watching Warrior Nun on Netflix to drown it out.

Son played piano a while back for the grandparents in China.

It was a nice little concert, highlighted by some boomers.

Bay Area.

It has been going on nonstop, every single night, for over a month.

Tonight is like that entire month went off at once.

Fireworks are illegal here. Riiiiiiiiight. My neighbors are throwing down displays to rival most small cities.

We spent an hour in a field watching 360 degrees of absolute, prismatic mayhem.

Pretty, but still ongoing. We just got in and fully expect to be awake til 1AM or so.

Here in the Phoenix area, a few of the cities planned to have them, but I only heard maybe a dozen or two around 9pm. I am lucky to have about the only dog on Earth who has never been scared of thunder or fireworks, but can still hear just about everything else.

some are so loud it sounds like cannons being fired all at once. Still going on at 12:15 a.m. I called the cops but they did nothing since I don't know the address; I'm up on a hill and see them down below in a residential neighborhood.

This is in San Diego County, during wildfire weather conditions.

All fireworks are illegal here, even sparklers.

I've never heard so many illegal fireworks before, maybe just an occasional pop like sparklers.

Some of the big shows here were cancelled, though not all. So apparently a lot of idiots are doing there own, probably bought them in Mexico.

I just heard a whole bunch of huge booms, no lights in the sky, and now all is almost silent. Maybe they blew themselves up.

Now it's 1:30 and every few minutes there goes another one.

It was fast and nerve racking from 9:30 - 11:00.

there was a big burst at 12:30 but there are still some isolated bangs. Car doesn’t seem to care

but Zeke was too scared to leave the house.

Thank God! Another awful holiday is behind us. There will be some noise today but nothing like yesterday
