As for the NY Post article, the paper is a rag.

The article just said that the dinner could land him back in jail.
No statement from DOJ, even on background.

We don't know whether the dinner was cleared with someone before he went and I don't know the exact terms of his release from prison.

The article just seemed like speculation and the NY Post loves to speculate in a way that favors Trumpy.

Isn't that place right in his neighborhood? He could've had his wife pick it up, or go incognito himself—shades and face mask. Who would recognize him?

The restaurant wasn’t the problem. He refused to sign a form agreeing not to publish or speak publically, apparently.

He made the right choice. His book before the election will be good for the public and will earn him millions.
