I've seen this ad a few times now in the Madison area and it claims Biden was lying about his ranking in his law school class and a few other things... I have yet to see one pro-Joe ad but I hope to soon. He's ahead in WI but we all know how polls go... where is all that Bloomberg money that was supposed to be helping take down the orange anus?

(8,689 posts)The clip of Biden comes from a campaign stop he made in April 1987 in New Hampshire. C-SPAN published the footage, which shows Biden confronting a voter.
Biden misled on a variety of claims about his academic career, including his law school class rank and how many undergraduate degrees he had. He issued a statement in September 1987 after news reports corrected his record.
"At a small campaign event in Claremont, N.H., I lost it. I shouldnt have been there in the first place," Biden wrote. "I didnt feel any better afterward; what Id said was a quick and stupid rant that I wished Id never said. Worse than that, without realizing it Id exaggerated my academic record."

If this is the best they have we have nothing to worry about!

Blueprint for the Restoration of America
Mission: We exist to further the beautiful experiment of America, helping to hold the core of American culture together and advancing selfless public servants working to do the same.

Overseas: We must aggressively confront evil using force as the absolute last resort, lead our allies, and do so by maintaining significant worldwide military supremacy.

(32,155 posts)When he was campaigning he said he would keep all of his offices open even if he lost the nomination. He didn't. He closed his offices and fired the staffers who had been told they would have jobs until the end of the year no matter what. He is onto the next shiny object.

(18,409 posts)Bloomberg and his cadre of advisers had considered creating an independent expenditure to make good on his promise, but eventually came to the conclusion, according to the memo, that the race against Trump is "too important to have many competing groups with good intentions but that are not coordinated and united in strategy and execution."

But a conversation in recent days with DNC officials and Bloomberg folks -- as well as with Biden advisers -- came to the resolution that they wanted staffers to have parity.
"The focus needs to be beating Trump and winning the White House," one senior Democrat familiar with the matter said. "Having some people being paid big Bloomberg salaries and others making DNC wages was not a good way to start this general election campaign."

No word yet on whether or when the fiery Democratic candidate/Independent senator from VT will transfer the remaining $16,200,000 in his war chest (from the $211,000,000+ he raised) to the DNC for its effort to defeat Trump.
