Help, help, help

Usually when I am feeling hopeless, I post on DU and the members immediately tell me to snap out of it. After the chastising and the snapping back, I start to be hopeful again. Well, listening to Rachel and Adam Schiff last night, I am in that distressed place again.

Rachel methodically laid out how Barr's nefarious plan, whatever it is, is moving along without interruption. I surmise, he has now, literally, taken over the SDNY and the EDNY, the FBI, CIA, the military, the illiterates in the senate and basically, the government. Adam Schiff's response is that nothing can be done until we, hopefully, get a new president.

Each day is the news with discussions and shocking revelations. However, Barr, McConnell, drumpf and his enablers continue with corruption and distractions. Now it seems at warp speed. I want to scream, "Why hasn't there been proceedings to disbar Barr?" By the time Barr comes before the House, he will have locked down anything that can block his dastardly deeds for the pResident.

We are teased with positive results, by the rule of law, from SCOTUS. However, the deep analysis reveals the ruling will do little to stop the take over of America by a drumpf form of Communism. Friends are calling and are just as I am. Some have come to the conclusion that all is lost. I often refer them to DU, where intellectuals can lift spirits.

Maybe after a morning mimosa, I can lift from another slump.

Peace my member therapist. I am on your couch and in need of a session.

I do not pretend to understand the moral universe; the arc is a long one, my eye reaches but little ways; I cannot calculate the curve and complete the figure by the experience of sight; I can divine it by conscience. And from what I see I am sure it bends towards justice.

but that is only temporary fix... breathe deep, walk, hike, get outside if possible, paint, plant, write, sew, plan, watch a good movie, wave at a neighbor, know there are really good people out there wanting what you want and are working on it!!!!!

That means no phone, no laptop, no TV. Staying busy with any and all activities that keep the hands occupied, because sometimes the mind will follow the hands into a methodical, slowed-down reflection that blocks out the anxiety feedback-looping for at least a little while. Wishing you peace today.
