Hopefully we will wakeup to a hopeful new beginning November 4, 2020 before this tyrant takes us into oblivion.

The Republican Party has become a monstrosity that must be destroyed. Unfortunately, Trump is only the logical outcome of over forty years of fascist tactics employed by the Republican to transform the presidency into a virtual dictatorship ruled in conjunction with the plutocrats. The warning that have been voiced and ignored by the majority have been allowed to become a reality. If we are to survive and recover the Congress must take proper action to assure that this can not be repeated. We can not rely on the good will of those elected to exercise the restraint that relies in censure and removal by impeachment of rogue presidents.

When elected officials put their party loyalty above their duty to uphold the constitution they have pledged to protect only measures to limit the power of the presidency will prevent a reoccurrence what we are experiencing. The power of impeachment is only as reassuring as those who are elected to be people are of honorable character. A fatal flaw of character that the Republicans have not only demonstrated, but flaunted as a virtue.

He's 80 years old and an esteemed scientist and public servant. And they want to destroy his reputation.

Well what else is new? Nothing is sacred if it stands between Trump and something he wants. Nothing at all.

Then he needs to set up shop at MSNBC or CNN, with daily reports on just how badly trump has fucked up things, plague-wise.

The country wouldn't take kindly to that.

Then he could go to whomever gives him the most time to educate us all.

Though I would add that he should get out in front of the press and tell people what the real situation is today.

Let Trump fire him for telling people the truth.

but I am over feeling sorry for people who encounter Trump and end up off the road in the weeds. But I do give him credit for sticking around to try to do his job. In the end he will come out of this OK.

He was as "non-invasive" to Trump as he could be without lying for him. Dr. Fauci should have figured out when the virus turned South that he was going to be made the fall guy.

I mean it was obvious from the start when Trump made Pence head of the coronavirus task force. I mean Mike fucking Pence, who was governor of Indiana whose state had the worst response in the nation to the HIV epidemic. Pence refused to get on board with the needle exchange program.

To show what Fauci really said and the context for his statements then contrast that with what Trump was saying in the same context. That would then pick up on Trump proposing that people ingest disinfectant to treat coronavirus, followed by people being hospitalized for ingesting it. Trump has a huge and effecting marketing/messaging/advertising operation in the Whitehouse and the networks not so much. As it is, the networks are enablers for Trump and his people.

No editing or barbering is necessary to show how catastrophically wrong Trump has been from the get-go. Remember how we were going to be down to zero cases by March 1? Or how anyone who wants a test can get a test for Covid-19? Or how the virus was going to just disappear like magic as the weather turned warmer? Wrong, wrong, and wrong.

Using props, etc. because if it is boring rather than entertaining people won't pay attention.
