I figured out how Trump can have his convention
The US has a stockpile of 63 million doses of Hydroxychloroquine. Based on 2016's attendance, we can guess the 2020 Republican National Convention would have had about 60,000 people attending it (including media). Bump it up to 65,000 for police because Blue Lives Matter. HCQ costs around $40 for 100 pills. You shouldn't take more than 400 mg a day (that's one pill). Each pill costs $0.40. Conventions aren't a week long, but let's plan for a week so workers setting things up can get some yummy candy because All Lives Matter.
65,000 people a day taking HCQ * $0.40/a pill * 7 days = $182,000 (450,000 pills). That is a drop in the bucket both monetarily and from the stockpile.
I believe Trump could executively order taking the pills - maybe not even pay for them. I'm sure everyone gets a gift bag just like at the Oscars. Put the pills in them - ooh, make a little collectible Trump Pez dispenser so that when you pull back his Circus Peanut colored head, a pill comes out.
So, if HCQ really works, why doesn't Trump do this and have his convention and in the process show all us ninny-heads? Guaranteed re-election.
