I had a disturbing exchange with an older sister today

I know she hates trump and won’t vote for him but she says she’s afraid trump will win in November (she’s from Ohio). Then she told me she’s afraid Biden will pick a woman running mate. Apparently there are still people, including women, that think the VP ought to be a man. The way she said it; he ought to pick a strong forceful man made me realize there are still people who buy trumps TV persona in spite of all he’s done and said. Then to top it off she wondered why Biden isn’t making public appearance; is there something cognitively wrong with him? That was her concern. I really had to bite my tongue and remind her of the pandemic and that Joe is just doing what everyone should be. Also sent her a sarcastic video of trumps recent gloating about his cognitive test. It really bothered me that she’d even give any credence to those ideas.

Fortunately some posted the new version of the liar tweets tonight and got me feeling better. I tried to put a link below if you haven’t seen it yet.
