1. At twitter, click on the photo to see it on a new page.
2. In Windows, right click on the image and choose "Copy image address" On other devices use whatever works on that device to copy the image's address.
3. Paste the address into your thread where you want the image to appear.
4. The URL you paste in will not display the image, however. You must edit it:
Original paste that won't work:
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/EeB5yiAX0AA9jlf?format=jpg&name=4096x4096
Delete the question mark and everything after it, and then add .jpg to the end of what is left
The edited URL will show the image, resized automatically by DU's software, as you can see below.

(146,351 posts)I wanted to repost them somewhere else, but twitter uses that weird URL for its images. Then, I realized that the name of the file was what was before the question mark, so i tried adding .jpg to that, and bingo!
Maybe everyone knows that, but I doubt it.
