As far as I know we’re still in the first round. I don’t know about any second round yet.

No first round, but I had "circumstances". I got a divorce last year, and this year I filed an extension.

But I just did my 2019 taxes about 3 weeks ago. I’m hoping for two but not holding my breath.

And if you read the article you linked, some people who got their first stimulus didn't get the full amount, so those are the ones who are getting another check right now.

The only people who are getting these, according to the article are those who did not file a tax return and filed for the stimulus online. For these people, the extra $500 per dependent was not counted in. These checks are the correction for those dependent mistakes.
