Iowa State Universitys Jack Trice Stadium will have no fans for the Cyclones home opener on Sept. 12.
The reversal came less than two hours after Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds defended allowing fans, which would have been the largest gathering in Iowa since the pandemic closures began in March.

I mean really.
What makes her so invested in following Trumps orders? Is she being threatened in some way?

Iowa Public Radio News | By Katarina Sostaric
Published September 2, 2020 at 9:57 PM CDT
Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds is continuing to reject several recommendations from the White House Coronavirus Task Force as coronavirus cases surge in the state.
The most recent report from the task force, dated Aug. 30, says Iowa has the highest rate of new coronavirus infections in the country, and the fifth highest test positivity rate.
Reynolds has repeatedly said she doesnt believe a mask requirement is needed and has not given local governments the authority to enforce their own mask mandates.
