I was never much of a fan, however I have noticed he's been on fire for Obama for the past 2 months or so. Ratings related perhaps? He has seen the success of Maddow, O'Donnell and Schultz????

He did seem to have a 'thing' for the shrub. As you can see, UTUSN was not a Tweetie fan. I think the change at CNBC starting with Olberman's and Maddow's successes has been good for his political outlook. He's usually better now.

Matthew's family is a mix of republican, he has one brother who is a local republican official in Pennsylvania. Matthew's nuclear family, wife and kids, seem to be solid Democrats. Matthews did work for Nixon as a young man out of college, as a speech writer, but then saw the light and went democrat, working for Tip.
