The Trump Cult will likely exist beyond his natural life.

At least some of them.

I witnessed a similar situation in Germany in 1979 and 1989. Mostly older German men (and some of their idiot children) would join clubs like Jaegers (royal huntsmen) to be with like-minded Volk. IOW, go into the woods, eat roasted meat, drink beer, blow horns, and then sing Hitler "fight songs." With gusto. The good ole days. Of course, when my drunken companion announced there was a Jew at the table (me), they stopped singing. I felt like that scene in Animal House when Boon said, "We're gonna die . . . "

Ten years later, I was in a typical German middle class home and was invited into the cellar where a bar was set up. And there was a "treasured" display of Nazi memorabilia. Gott Mit Uns. Daggers. Pistols. Belt buckles. Swastikas galore. These guys had to be Hitler Youth and kept the flame lit.

So, don't think the "true believers" of Trump are going away. Figure this: These people who love Trump are staunch defenders of the Confederacy and Jim Crow . . . . and that was before Trump showed up. They believe all 50 states should be confederate states.

Trump is temporary and a symbol. Their "faith" is forever.
