and now we know where "Give 'em hell, Harry!" comes from... and the reply "I don't give 'em Hell, I just tell the truth and they think its Hell"

He didn't like Ike... and he didn't think much of the Kennedys either.

But he sure has Trump's number, even if he had never heard of Trump.

He personally spearheaded the drive to streamline the war production effort, eliminating 'waste, inefficiency and war-profiteering' that were costing thousands of American lives during WWII (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truman_Committee). Also was responsible for the modernization of our entire Federal government and brought us into the 20th century.

hididdly ho neighburritos!

Nowadays, a show like this wouldn't fly.

Requires WAYYYY too much attention span for nowadays people.

Whodathunk I'd look back on the 1970s or 1980s as a "simpler time."
