tomorrow is growing increasingly concerning to be a full on tornado outbreak in IN, OH /WV and PA. We are having a more atypical early spring weather pattern in the Midwest with cold air hanging around longer and the storm tracks right now are punching warm air from the south into that cold air hanging around the Ohio Valley/Great Lakes regions. This is a pattern we do see a couple of times a decade that result in early spring (and strong traditionally) tornado's in the Midwest. We havent had an early spring pattern like this in many years and it looks like it will continue through most of April so heads up, this pattern can wipe out towns.

And man can we use it. Barely any snow this entire winter. Finally got 8" last week, which melted away in a few days to hydrate the soil. We're finally out of drought conditions and now only abnormally dry instead.

I wouldn't mind a week of slow, steady rain right now.

And it's strung out over 4 months. I never had more than 3 inches on the ground here in N Central IN all winter. 10 inches total. Its nuts. Last good snowstorm we had was in April 5 years ago with a foot.
