Governor Katie Hobbs just called me...

On top of the improved situation for Biden and Gallego, the State Legislature (currently R+2 Senate, R+2 House), which just turned down an effort to repeal the 1864 abortion law, is now seen as winnable. Will pass along details on specific seats and support opportunities when I get them.

Absolutely momentous.

I can already see the GOPee memos:

"Don't nobody do nothing on abortion until after the elections, dammit!"

"Once we win - you can make being a woman illegal for all we care!"

It’s the Dems fault the law wasn’t changed because the governor and attorney general are Dems and the legislature is close
He neglects to mention the Dems tried but there are more Republicans than Democrats in the legislature and the Republicans shot down the attempt to make a sensible law
Fox news is so harmful to our country

There is a small but dedicated cadre who find the humble brags endlessly entertaining. Unintentional comedy is the best kind I think and the self awareness is basically at a zero!

She nailed it and tacked TSF's hide to her wall. Oh, and she included the three maga judges he hand picked to overturn Roe.

She was brilliant!

By all means, let's give them all the sharp and pointy instruments they need.
