The rnc changed the rules last year to require a 2/3 vote of rnc leadership to release the delegates and allow a brokered convention.

Trump controls rnc leadership with an iron fist, especially after the purge.

Trump is the presumptive nominee and will breeze to the nomination on the first vote. There's nothing to broker.

There ain’t no turning back now, they own that party. Anyone left who’s not a MAGA bootlicker will be brought in line or kicked out of the party. No independent thought whatsoever.
