I think with the exception of Thomas, the justices will see the light that no man is above the law.

(37,073 posts)Ill go 7-2. Worthless Thomas and his twin Sammy the rat against sanity.
Its sad we are having this discussion that the SC might even remotely consider immunity.
When I was 13 years old I broke a very old and expensive crystal lamp in the living room by doing stuff 13 year olds do. I tried to pull that immunity stuff on my Dad. I lost 1-zip. Unanimous. Knockout. No appeal. And it was Justice.
That is if [Long John] Clarence Thomas is still with us.

(14,157 posts)..... and signed by trDUMP were done in the Oval Office. It was the Stormy Daniel's payment of $130K that was bogusly attributed to attorney's fees and payments.
trDUMP did not want to leave a trail directly back to him that he perpetrated an infidelity against his new wife who just birthed his son while trDUMP was out fucking a porn star.
trDUMP was concerned that this nasty little trist if it became public would seriously jeopardize his presidential chances. So he arranged the $130K payment to Stormy Daniels via Cohen's bank accounts to keep this nasty story hidden and secret from the public.
So it was a political donation to the trDUMP 2016 Presidential campaign.

(1,761 posts)but I don't share your confidence in any one of the Republicans on the SC. If they really were interested in anything besides protecting their orange lord and master they would have ruled quickly that he doesn't have complete immunity. By dragging out the process they've already given him the huge delay he wanted.
