"Resting his eyes.... RESTING HIS EYES!!???!!????

Last edited Tue Apr 16, 2024, 06:27 PM - Edit history (1)

That did not fucking play in fourth grade. I cannot believe that the on-site reporters are saying that he may be “resting his eyes“.

If President Biden blinks too quickly, they accuse him of being asleep or having a seizure for crying out loud. I’ve never seen the President fall asleep and they’re have been no reports of him doing so in a cabinet meeting or anywhere else other than his bed. I am so fucking mad I could spit.

I don't think so.

I don't believe every single thing he does is done purely for effect. He does a lot of things for effect, but deliberately playing sleepy in court would be a very odd choice. Besides attracting ridicule, it makes him look weak, which is a cardinal sin to him.

More likely, he's just a tired old coot who's been under a lot of stress and probably hasn't gotten much sleep lately.

Now, this doesn't mean he won't spin it to be on purpose and for a good reason and that he was praised by tear-filled fans when he left the courthouse. But painting himself as a pathetic old man who dozes off doesn't sound like him. Especially in light of his favorite childish nickname for Biden, Sleepy Joe.

they said that Trump only sleeps four hours a night. He's probably got his internal clock off kilter. But, he's probably one of those people who sleep when they are bored. Nothing else to do.

I favor the medication explanation. He's probably on something. Even L-theanine can produce this effect.

I asked my eye doctor about the intolerance of bright light and he told me as we age (am in my late 60’s) our eyes may not tolerate bright lights like they did when we were young. Right now I am inside my house and the sun is bright and it almost hurts to look outside. I used to love all the windows in my house and the bright light. Not anymore.

What's even more insane is that he goes outside of the court and there's an army of Fox News reporters waiting for him to speak.

If we really wanted to punish Trump, the judge should put a gag and restraining order on Fox and not allow them anywhere near the court.

Why make excuses for him and sound foolish, let him come up with excuses why he keeps falling asleep and let him sound foolish (and feeble). Jeesh!

I saw his expressions and other behavior, including going to sleep. I absolutely am convinced that knowingly or not he was drugged. I would bet that this was done to prevent him from having outbursts in the courtroom that would send him to jail, since he cannot seem to control himself.

I have no proof of this, only my own observation.
