That did not fucking play in fourth grade. I cannot believe that the on-site reporters are saying that he may be resting his eyes.
If President Biden blinks too quickly, they accuse him of being asleep or having a seizure for crying out loud. Ive never seen the President fall asleep and theyre have been no reports of him doing so in a cabinet meeting or anywhere else other than his bed. I am so fucking mad I could spit.

You forgot about Donnie's debilitating bone spurs. He would have done all of those things, and more, had it not been for the tragedy of those crippling bone spurs.

I don't think so.
I don't believe every single thing he does is done purely for effect. He does a lot of things for effect, but deliberately playing sleepy in court would be a very odd choice. Besides attracting ridicule, it makes him look weak, which is a cardinal sin to him.
More likely, he's just a tired old coot who's been under a lot of stress and probably hasn't gotten much sleep lately.

(1,391 posts)Now, this doesn't mean he won't spin it to be on purpose and for a good reason and that he was praised by tear-filled fans when he left the courthouse. But painting himself as a pathetic old man who dozes off doesn't sound like him. Especially in light of his favorite childish nickname for Biden, Sleepy Joe.

(6,613 posts)they said that Trump only sleeps four hours a night. He's probably got his internal clock off kilter. But, he's probably one of those people who sleep when they are bored. Nothing else to do.
I favor the medication explanation. He's probably on something. Even L-theanine can produce this effect.

(17,539 posts)Who are these "on-site reporters"?
Not that I don't believe you, just want to know where to direct my anger.
MSNBC,CNN have on-sute reporters who say that whether he is resting his eyes or perhaps tired and bored or words to that effect. I heard phrases like that both yesterday and today.

(13,652 posts)is blinking quickly it may be due to dry eyes. I have that problem, as well as photophobia which is the eyes intolerance of bright light, in my case.

I asked my eye doctor about the intolerance of bright light and he told me as we age (am in my late 60s) our eyes may not tolerate bright lights like they did when we were young. Right now I am inside my house and the sun is bright and it almost hurts to look outside. I used to love all the windows in my house and the bright light. Not anymore.

(114,182 posts)person. For your dr.s information, I have had this my whole life, and I am in my 70's. I have only come across one opthamologist who truly took my photophobia seriously, primarily because he had the same. grrrrrr.

(21,862 posts)And dry eyes. Wonder if the dry eyes and light sensitivity are a common co-occurrence.
rheumatoid arthritis and have had it since childhood. Dry eyes not uncommon for people with RA. I started noticing it in my early twenties. The light sensitivity came around about ten years ago.

I dont hear any of these commentators saying that Trump may be too old to be president since he cant stay awake.

(34,582 posts)What's even more insane is that he goes outside of the court and there's an army of Fox News reporters waiting for him to speak.
If we really wanted to punish Trump, the judge should put a gag and restraining order on Fox and not allow them anywhere near the court.

(5,755 posts)I saw his expressions and other behavior, including going to sleep. I absolutely am convinced that knowingly or not he was drugged. I would bet that this was done to prevent him from having outbursts in the courtroom that would send him to jail, since he cannot seem to control himself.
I have no proof of this, only my own observation.
