If you didn't wake up in time to start your next route.
Pretty sure TSF is doing it on purpose to show his contempt for the entire process and in protest to the idea of being forced to be there. I'm sure he will continue to do fall asleep throughout the trial... If I were the judge, I'd tell him that falling asleep will be considered contempt of court and punished with jail after a few times.

(15,842 posts)It reenergizes your body and mind. Many companies have definitely encouraged it. A short sleep does wonders. Probably would have helped the rest of the day driving a bus.

(9,188 posts)If he does, he may never get to REM sleep. I have sleep apnea, and before I got a CPAP I would nod off sitting in a chair, holding a glass of wine. I could nod off while driving. I once nodded off during a deposition, where I was trying very hard to concentrate and pay attention, and to stay awake. Nope; it just happens. Once I got the CPAP, the problem went away.

(13,599 posts)fall asleep. I laid like that for what I thought was an hour and the tech came in, said I had sleep apnea, it had been two hours and I had like 70 events. I didn't really doubt her but was still amazed when she showed me the video of what I had been doing. I would have sworn in court I never fell asleep.

(597 posts)Biden has done it.
Clinton has done it (I remember Clinton getting shit for nodding off during a MLK tribute back when Hillary was running in 2008 and he was much younger than Trump is now).

The right-wing accuses Biden of being old. RW, behold your candidate.
