Here we have a man who took the law into his own hands just like GOP Sen Tom Cotton said to do and a woman is DEAD!

The man was scared. yes!! But he took the law into his own hands. That was WRONG!
And of course he had a gun--ready to use in his hyped up, scared angry state of being!!! damn.

OMG!! This uber women driver lost her life. Was shot 3 times. Was she a mother? A sister? A friend. She looks like someone just trying to make a living--has a bad limp. The man should have called the police. He did wrong

This is the country Republicans want:

An 81-year-old Ohio man William Brock has been charged with murder after he took the law in his own hands and shot and killed an innocent Uber driver he thought was trying to scam him.

Turns out however, all was not how it seemed.

Brock says he had received a phone call earlier in the day from someone purporting to be the court seeking a bond for a family member who had been incarcerated.

The conversation became darker when the person on the phone switched their story and said the loved one was actually being held hostage and they demanded ransom.

That’s when the scammers allegedly called an Uber to pick up money.

That’s when 61-year-old Loletha Hall is arrived to pick up the package.

When Brock arrived to her home, unaware of the scammer plot, Brock shot and killed her.

Brock was indicted on 3 counts of murder, 1 count of felonious assault and one count of kidnapping.

What are your thoughts?

Why didn’t he call the police?

Why shoot her?

It doesn’t help when sitting US senators like Tom Cotton are telling folks to take the law into their own hands. 🤦?♀️

12. Of course. But Cotton's statement still did not directly lead to the shooting.

13. It looks like Cotton was telling people to use their vehicles as weapons to get pro-Hamas protesters

out of the way when they're blocking traffic. Cotton was obviously making a reference to Ron DeSantis' "anti-riot bill” which granted civil immunity to people using their cars to run over protesters who are blocking a road.

He seems to never smile I could not imagine a Tom Cotton laugh. There is a vague hint of a smirk. My impression this is one mean shit his words leave no doubt.

Was NOT give her the money.

Even if he stupidly thought she was one of the kidnappers. Though it's clear he knew she was merely an Uber driver. Do Uber drivers do pick-ups and deliveries now?

He could have just not given her the money and told her to go away.

He didn't need to kill her.

Yeah, when you got a hammer everything looks like a nail. When you have a loaded gun at your finger tips, everyone looks like a criminal. Especially when idiot GOPs are goading on the crazies among us.

7. He should go to prison like any other murderer. He had absolutely no justification to shoot her.

I find Cotton's tweet about taking "matters into your own hands" and getting pro-Hamas protesters "out of the way" reprehensible, but claiming he's somehow to blame for this shooting is a bit of a stretch. It's much more likely this armed and paranoid 81-year-old has been reading far too much NRA propaganda, or listening to RW radio talkers spreading fear about black home invaders, than reading Cotton's tweets.

Some slow brain, idiotic person who would run over a human being (Just because the protester is something you disagree with)
..is the same stoop, piece of human garbage, that would shoot a Uber driver before asking any questions.
Tom Cotton is just another Cockroach.
