How soon before Trump loses his influence on government?

These Republicans lost their influence in stages:

Joe McCarthy:

1) "At long last, have you no decency?" 2) Censure 3) Alcoholism 4) Death

Richard Nixon:

1) Watergate 2) Resignation 3) Not involved in politics after resignation

Ronald Reagan:

1) Retired from politics 2) Alzheimer's 3) Death

Will Trump's adventures in the American Judiciary be Stage I or will he have to die or become obscure to have him lose control of MAGA politicians?

Above all else, MAGA wants to win elections. And if he loses one final time, they'll move on for the most part IMO.

PZero’s longevity and stages. ( in your terms ) Is mixed. I had thought that his Borg like assimilation of the RNC would have shortened it considerably. But, no… Other than a few defections, the GrOPpers’ lust for power, self-righteousness, and craven desire for cruelty seems to have only caused the rank and file to burrow ever deeper into their snoozing Golden Calf’s backside.

Yes, his end will come. Right now it seems like it will be a waterfall, instead of distinct phases.

I thought it would happen when Joe beat him by 7 million votes in 2020.
However, the corrupt Trumplican party had other ideas and with the help from the orange monster himself, they continue to support, encourage, and finance the threatening political future of IQ45.
Maybe THIS election will finally be the end........

There I was, waving sayonara and dancing the witch is dead with the munchkins, and blam, Jan6th happened with little to no immediate repercussions for him or any of those allegedly in government at the time.

Subsequently, he was held aloft by the Branch Deadheadians and a shadow dictatorship, complete with its own shitty foreign policy and judiciary, was formed around him.

Well, here we are.

"There I was, waving sayonara and dancing the witch is dead...................."

Alas, all I did was burn off a few calories and furthered my delusional thinking that indeed, the 'witch' was dead....

Three presidential cycles in a row, they had no one with an ounce of Charisma and his turd floated to the top. Is there anyone out there post Trump. Or just little shot versions of him like MTG?

Reagan's influence is still around

Nixon's influence petered out with Ford. (Nixon wasn't all that different from Eisenhower and he didn't obliterate FDR's, JFK's or LBJ's programs).

McCarthy's influence died when he left the senate. It revived with Ted Cruz.

15. When Republicans lose big repeatedly, over several election cycles

Because Trump isn't the end-all of it, it's the entire Republican apparatus that built their base on a perpetual grievance engine, including the billionaires who provide the funding for the extremism.

They'll be broken when simply hunkering down and obstructing Democrats until the next chance for a Republican win no longer works, because they keep losing. Once the Republican Party is no longer a viable vehicle for single-minded extremists, "Trump" Will lose "his" hold.

And, of course, a dress code for women that gives easy access to certain anatomical parts for easy grabbing. (NDA required which is attainable for another fee).
