(634 posts)... and, as I understand it, even though Biden has replaced most of them, no one has had the cojones to move against this sonofabitch.
I have seen people here on DU DEFEND this evil fuck! Just his blatant conflicts of interest should have gotten him booted. Go figure.
Please remember, he had BRAND NEW sorting machinery not just dismantled, but destroyed, to hamstring mail deliveries just prior to the distribution of mail-in ballots in 2020. He is a turd devoid of honor, and it is an unforgivable obscenity that he is still wreaking havoc on the only business entity mentioned in the Constitution. He has to go. And the Republican-induced punishment of prepaying retirement benefits 75 fucking years in advance has to be rescinded and shoved up the tukus of every Republican for the next 75 fucking years.

(51,621 posts)The requirement ended with the passage of the USPS Fairness Act, which was approved by the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. The law will allow USPS employees to enroll in Medicare upon retirement, saving the Postal Service more than $50 billion over the next 10 years. The USPS Fairness Act was written and championed by U.S. Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Oregon. https://oregoncapitalchronicle.com/briefs/defazios-usps-fairness-act-passes-saving-the-postal-service-5-billion-a-year/#:~:text=Since%202006%2C%20the%20U.S.%20Postal,Senate%20and%20House%20of%20Representatives.

Maybe we should have signed up for that seven-week service!
The state of Arkansas hasn't even acknowledged receipt of that return. And naturally, we're expecting a refund.

(1,726 posts)a few nights ago. The tracking showed that the package was put on the delivery truck at 11:30 am. It wasn't delivered to our house until the next day. I felt sorry for the delivery driver.

(1,337 posts)Post offices are horrible everywhere, it seems, but I would argue that ours is near the top of the list of the worst. Bane of my existence as I drive 10 miles to pick up a package--three of which would have fit in our mailbox. I knew I had a very large bowl coming USPS yesterday, which would mean a trip to the PO today. And then this VAN with the USPS logo on it, drives up our driveway with the big box and the rest of our mail. THIS NEVER HAPPENS. The PO actually delivered a package!
