I'm thinking of things like RW goons deliberately messing with the jurors to create a mistrial and delay the verdict.
If this happened, would there be an extended delay before a new trial starts, thereby delaying it until after the election?
Or could the judge order a new trial be re-started immediately which would cause Trump to spend even more time away from campaigning?
I'm just wondering if messing with the trial is a strategy that RW extremists might consider to help Trump?

(15,908 posts)Selecting a jury carefully was supposed to take two to three weeks. They had a full jury (except alternates) in 3 days! Thats super fast.

Hell, we may have him behind bars by Memorial Day! Or sooner of Trump can't keep his damn mouth or X account shut!
We may have Judge Merchan statues erected by year-end. He might make a great AG for a second term!
