I guess it didn't matter enough. Whatever, I guess.

The main point is how the story the mom tells has a poignant twist. Giving more info defeats the entire message.

How completely sad that a second grader had to decide how to keep her horse safe if there was a mass shooting at her school. She chose to keep her horse home. That is not a choice open to our children.
