The Supreme Court Is About To Debate Whether States Can Outlaw Life-Saving Abortions

To be a pregnant woman in this country in states where even saving the life of a woman going through a pregnancy going wrong, Emergency Room Doctors will be facing a terrible conundrum should the Supreme Court decide YES to prohibiting care. States already with abortion bans in place will be free too KILL pregnant women.

My plea to all females of child bearing age....VOTE Blue in November!

The Supreme Court this week will debate whether states have the power to outlaw life-saving abortions in hospital emergency rooms.

The court will hear Idaho v. United States on Wednesday to determine if the narrow exceptions in Idaho’s near-total abortion ban override federally mandated requirements for physicians under the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA). EMTALA requires hospitals that participate in Medicare — the majority of hospitals in the country — to offer abortion care if it’s necessary to stabilize the health of a pregnant patient while they’re experiencing a medical emergency.

There have been dozens of reports of pregnant women across the country — in Texas, Florida, Oklahoma and elsewhere — who were denied care because they weren’t close enough to death to require medical intervention.

“This case could radically alter how emergency medicine is practiced in this country and make pregnant people second-class citizens in America’s emergency rooms.”

Many more people (men and women) will seek sterilization and rethink the whole idea of parenting.

I’m guessing the State if Idaho did this.

The court’s credibility is on the cliff’s edge. As bad as Dobbs was, this could push it over the edge.

When Democrats decided that Al Gore wasn’t perfect enough and the election was stolen by the Rethugs and then Democrats decided that Hillary wasn’t perfect enough and then that election was stolen.

And now many Democrats don’t think Biden is perfect enough. Are we headed for the hat trick?

GOTV and stop handing your rights over to the fascists.

Why are politicians passing laws about medical care ???

Why aren't committees of doctors making these decisions ???

Judges and politicians have no business deciding anything about medical care.

This is a fucked up country.

I am so sick of all the nonsense and bullshit.

Quite the shithole it's being turned into, and threatening the rest of the country.
