Take your broken heart and turn it into art. I'm probably not getting it exactly right, but she said something like that.

And then I realized that we can all do that.

I don't know if you know, my dear malaise, but late last year, a very close, dear friend of mine here on DU suddenly died after a brief but catastrophic illness. His death broke my heart. And how did I turn that into art?

By writing poetry about it. I have mined my grief's depths to create some beautiful words.

Meryl Streep is amazing! Blessings on her for revealing this truth so clearly.

For Smelvis cruelty and hate are the point.
Basic decency is missing.

And I did not know about your friend’s illness and death. Too sad

Especially how actors and actresses come from all over.

I check bios on movies to check their age and also see where they were born.

That politics and the mood of society in general is a pendulum that swings back and forth.

When it swings back to what we want the world to be it's going to be a wonderful thing. It's already started in a sense with Biden being elected. I hope I live to see the rest of the swing.

That was just so offensive and to this day I wish for him to be trapped alive disabled, drooling and unable to speak clearly and be trapped as his crew move on and forget him. May he live out his final time trapped in that scenario.

We need people like her in the White House...and not to entertain but to write the script for this declining country.
