Los Angeles MagazineAppearing remotely before going into court for his election interference trial, Trump told Philadelphia's ABC6 that his administration "terminated Roe v. Wade."
"When you look at it and you look at what's happening all over the country now, states are voting," Trump said. "Ohio just voted. All different by the way. It's tailor made, and it's really working out well for people and they're very, very happy."
Ohio voters voted last November to amend the state constitution to protect abortion rights with about 57 percent support. Similar efforts have also passed in red states like Kansas and Kentucky and appear headed for the ballot in Florida and Arizona this November.

(6,207 posts)It''s working out well for those people who want to turn women into reproductive slaves.
Not so good for the overwhelming majority of us who know what he did and what he plans to do if he gets the power.
We need a trifecta this fall...White House, Senate, and House all controlled by Democrats.
Protection of women's reproductive rights needs to be codified in Federal Law. It's the only way it works.
People who don't believe in abortion don't have to get one, but they have no right to inflict their belief on the rest of us.
is happy when their rights are taken away. However some are happy when someone else's rights are taken away.
It's vindictiveness and sadism, MAGAt stock-in-trade.

(6,207 posts)has a flag outside that says "Trump 2024, the revenge tour." It's sick how these people want to hurt their fellow citizens. It is, however, what they love about Smelvis. He gives them permission to be their worst selves by setting an example.

(1,251 posts)Making abortion legal will mean the right will become ironclad.
Have all of you forgotten that the USSC can declare any law unConstitutional if someone brings a case to them challenging that law? It happens all the time--and it's legal for the USSC to do it.
It's called checks and balances, and it's been around since 1791.
Really.
