it's for the dead, ruined child that languishes calcified in a forgotten tomb within his spite. His weak malevolence resonates within other malevolent, aggrieved losers.

(1,614 posts)Those who can summon any sense of pity--empathy?--are capable of feeling what I am not.

(7,137 posts)I do not ask others to pity him. But I see him as a product of a process started long ago by powers that remain entrenched.
Edited to add: It's a classic pump and dump. Now they will leverage their position to take down what remains of America's safety net and justice system.

(7,137 posts)While trump may have been the bad seed, his father probably did a lot to fuck him up. But like I said, that hope or reason for redemption is dead and buried.

(7,137 posts)the GOPs and the media had been doing that for decades. It's kinda their MO. It's America's MO, its premise of egalitarianism and justice notwithstanding.

(13,931 posts)was a liar, a bully and a user all his life and he was a master faker. If you met him you would think he was a handsome, wonderful guy. I don't know anyone who got close to him that wasn't conned and deeply hurt. He went through 3 wives and half a dozen children and died pretty much alone. He had written his own obit before he passed and it was full of lies including a Purple Heart which he was never awarded. He lived a sad, brutal life of destruction. He was a Trump.

(7,137 posts)like an emotional/psychological parasite, leaves their hosts depleted and no longer able to sustain them. To have to say that about a family member is harsh. I hope that those left in his wake of destruction recover and reconcile within themselves that their empathy and humanity were not wasted.
