The only reason why Barr ever said a word to the Jan 6th committee was because he was afraid of being prosecuted. Don’t ever think for a second there is a patriotic bone anywhere in that wretched sack of skin he calls a body.

I think he's got some hack spewing this crap out for him. If you listen to him holding forth at rallies, it's obvious that even the mediocre level of language proficiency demonstrated in the tweets is beyond his abilities. It's probably some toad like Steven Miller writing this stuff, although Trump probably approves it before it goes out.

Barr knows everything that Donald Trump did in exacting detail. He knows that the man is a menace, and he endorses him anyway. Barr is a worm, and so are all the rest of them that would rally behind Trump and threaten the nation with his presence once again.

At this point, can we please lay to rest the idea that Republicans are somehow still these rock-ribbed, suffer-no-fools archetypes we were told they were? Every one of their leaders in recent memory - every single one - has proven to be either criminal, crazy, or unbearably stupid.
