GOP Has Gone rancid--And it Isn't Fair Decent People Have to Keep Cleaning Up After Them

GOP has gone rancid—and it isn't fair decent people have to keep cleaning up after them - Rawstory

By words and actions, Republicans have proven they are not serious people, and most definitely do not love or care for our country. We have learned without any doubt during the past decade that there is no line they won’t cross, rule they won’t break, or lie they won’t tell to further their dirty causes, which have absolutely nothing to do with making America great.

They are incapable of good governance, and have settled into mob rule. The Republican-led House of Representatives is a complete and nasty joke, where members literally elbow and hiss at each other, and that is both true and terribly, terribly sad.

With help from our inept Justice Department and a bought-off Conservative Supreme Court, Republicans are making a mockery of the notion that our nation is protected by the rule of law. They know, better than anybody that this simply is not true.

It's time to stop giving any republican the benefit of the doubt.

They are not "misguided" with different opinions but good intentions of governing for the country's well-being as they see it.

They are simply out to hurt people for their own gain and must be kept away from power.

Darwin’s law: survival of the fittest. Kill or be killed, and they have most of the guns.

I could never watch or read sci-fi stories where an alternate universe of a “kill or be killed” civilization achieves interstellar travel. It would never happen. It is always a race to the bottom and the theory of them taking the advanced technology from a civilization that has it is laughable. They would be smashed like a bug at the first indication that they were going to make the attempt.

Yeah, I’m that guy who yells that there is no sound in a vacuum from the back of a theater.

8. I think Republicans would be shocked at how many Democrats own guns.

I don’t have a gun or hunt anymore but I used to be in a local hunting club. I’d say 50% or maybe even more of us were Democrats. This is in New Mexico, I can’t speak for anywhere else.

4. They are incapable of good governance

Some of them are capable, but unwilling.

It is all a reality TV gig for them and they are putting on a show for the cameras. Sometimes it feels like it is a competition to see who can be the most ridiculous and outrageous.

All the above. Theirs is a mean spirited malice based upon misinformation fueled and concocted by a wealthy deep state

(the REAL deep state. Not the mythical 'deep state' the fascist right like to PROJECT upon the left).

This allows the GOP to escape accountability for their inaction and lack of policymaking on behalf of even their own constituency.

They've got their devotees so bamboozled that they can repeatedly fuck over the country, drive us into recession (10 of the last 11, under a GOP administratiin), engage in so-called trickle-down (voodoo) economics that only enriches THEM,

after which Democrats have to clean up their shit. They get away with doing it because their hate driven voters are so busy looking at some demonized "other."

his legacy and wouldn't bow to Trump were wrong. There maybe a few Republicans left in office, who care about we the people, but you could probably count them on one hand.

They certainly aren't on the Supreme Court. I will say Barrett did surprise me a little, but we will see, if she's willing to do the right thing or not.

were a bunch of unprincipled scoundrels hell bent on 'interpreting' law (i.e. twisting, distorting, bending, skewing, and generally fabricating it out of thin air) to the benefit of Trump and his MAGA arsonists.
