Imagine you are a SCOTUS Justice

You sit on the highest court of America with great power at your fingers.

If you are a man your selection to sit on the court was not due to the fact you are a brilliant jurist or even a good judge. No, your slection was because you had friends in high places. And you were known as someone who could follow their rules, vote their way.

Today you are asked to decide the fate of a former president and the future of America.

You can change history by your vote. You can overrule democracy. Cancel the votes of many Americans. Be a hero to a few who selected you and made you the big man.

And what brung ya here to the highest court? Could be a president who did not win the popular vote, so who cares about the popular vote?

You were voted in by a group of men, senators, who are the most selected men due to campaign bribes who also do not have posession of the USA's popular votes. So who cares about bribes?

They do not have to deliver anything to anyone, tho. They are set for life.

But you are in a position whereby you can demand bribes in order to deliver votes that keep the bribers happy. So what ya gonna do when a briber asks you to kill democracy?

Their job is secure yes.

But the high style luxury living and cash bribes are not.

For people who are amoral the issue is how much money does it take for them to kill democracy .
They will certainly do it if the price is right.

A Justice could say to hell with destruction let's follow the constitution, ya know, the reason we have justices.

That is why they impose their minority view on the American people who do not like some of their rulings.
Rulings which have no basis in law or the constitution.

Some of the justices do not feel they are making enough money.
They think they are special and worth a lot more.
They also want to burn it all down.
They are angry and hate filled.
So they feel entitled to take bribes and only too happy to do what is required in return.
