Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI have come to the conclusion that "stupid cannot be fixed".
And the more you try to reason with them, or confront them, the more firm they become in their stupidity. The most recent polls seem to confirm this theory.
It is a waste of time, and mental health, to attempt any communication with them. For me personally, I have slowly come to realize that the more I challenge them, the stronger they become in their support of Trump and opposed to all Democratic Party ideas.
Therefore, I have decided, that the problem is now in the courts and it is up to them to decide. Also, it seems to me that the courts may be part of the cult and stupidity problem that defines the present Republican Party.
As I tend to my own personal health, it seems that this is nothing more than a huge cover-up, going all the way up to the Supreme Court. We are witnessing the largest cover-up in American history.
I have tried to offer the truth and the facts as I see them, but it is now up to the Courts to decide if the laws still apply to Republican politicians?
I have no more to give.

(8,934 posts)The Supreme Court gave its partisan hand away by delaying action on Trump. That in itself is egregious behavior by a Supreme Court, and is all that should be needed to convince anyone with eyes open. Anything affecting a presidential election would be dealt with swiftly by a non-partisan court. This court is all in on the power grab.
We tried to warn people about this day when people were saying things like but her emails and shes not a candidate I can get very enthusiastic about Ill probably stay home. Well, they didnt listen and here we are now with this court. Yes, there is no cure for stupid, and there is plenty of it in the U.S.

But there is room for optimism, or at least hope. They are unlikely to attract more converts. Question is can they strangle the rest of us to feed the cult, or will we beat them at the ballot box?

(17,122 posts)Just picture this if you will 3 full size doors ahead. Door 1 when you open it you see HUGE FLAMES Door 2 has the word Democrats on it, you open it and see no problem. Door 3, you open it and has HUGE FLAMES again. So these type people will decide NO place to go, and die right in front of the doors. I fear this is where we are at.
