Remember when Trump assassinated the Iranian "General" with a missile?

...near the end of his Administration, as I recall?

Iran threatened revenge. Who knows? Maybe the present violence in the Gaza and elsewhere can be tied to that assassination?

But, he was not terribly criticized by the Democrats for his actions. I assume they thought it was part of his "official" duties, unlike the attack upon our Capitol, or the fraudulent electoral ballots, or the theft of national secrets?

These were all crimes of a "personal" nature, meant to help Donald Trump stay in power.

Why does the Supreme Court have such a difficult time with this obvious distinction?

If they kill trump they do the US a solid. And they can't do that either.

Their best bet is to be patient, hope trump loses and causes his minions to create the bloodbath trump has promised. Or trump wins and finishes destroying America, NATO and everything else.

Not my recollection at all. Top Dems acknowledged Soleimani was a bad actor and terrible person, but spoke frankly about it as an escalation.

Not even remotely. And they should not be. Soleimani was a butcher and was in Iraq to kill even more Americans. He deserved to go just as Osama bin Laden deserved it. No difference.
